Double blind ruled on front cover with impressed gilt book details and similar on spine, foxing to top and fore edges, very little penetration onto the pages, plates and maps untouched, 4to Ex-lib. 'Malvern Public Library' on neat oval stamp about 1in. x 1/2 in. purple ink, carefully applied to the foot of about 8 pages below the page no. Clean, crisp, little-used appearance, slight shelf wear to bottom edges and corners. A scarce work, written by Crawford while he was Archaeology Officer at the Ordnance Survey. Within the book, he categorises the structures he studied as' Long Barrows', 'Stone Circles' and 'Mounds, Standing Stones' and Other Objects'.
