The Northchurch Villa was excavated in 1974, the Boxmoor/Hemel Hempstead excavations were an extension of the excavations started originally by Sir John Evans, and the site of of a Roman building at Hemel Hemstead Railway Station. The two two villas provide useful information for construction and building phases and relate to the nearby Gadebridge Park Villa. Many small finds and evidence for mosaics and painted plaster.
