Our bookshop started when Chris saw a note in an archaeology book catalogue. He had been a regular subscriber to Castle Bookshop's paper catalogues for many years, so when they offered their business for sale, he was interested. Those catalogues were always so popular that if you didn't immediately telephone to reserve a book you were after, someone else would buy it first.
After we had bought the business, we found interest in paper catalogues was declining, as more people were buying online. So we began to list on AbeBooks
We now send out our popular e-catalogues by Mailchimp every week, listing our most recent stock. It's the electronic equivalent of what Castle Bookshop were doing with paper catalogues.
So if you want to see our new stock before it gets listed online, subscribe to the e-catalogue list!
